Supply Chain and Logistics Team Lead
The Opportunity:
As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government and commercial systems for managing supply chains in an evolving environment. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your logistics and process improvement expertise to develop tools for our critical Air Force clients. You'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration of logistics product support elements and ensure cost effective sustainment of equipment necessary to ensure our combat capability for the coming decades.
You will also use your leadership skills to keep a team of personnel coordinated to add value to our client's mission. You'll manage other skilled logisticians and develop and track metrics for validating logistics process improvements. You'll be a key subject matter expert in communicating logistics processes and best practices to cutting edge IT product developers to streamline and enhance logistics as it relates to overall mission assurance.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience managing supply chains for multiple systems
- Knowledge of IT systems and databases used to acquire, manage, track, and report the logistical health of end items
- Knowledge of the 12 product support elements, including how to plan and program for their integration and execution
- Ability to lead a team of logisticians in the execution of supply chain management, parts obsolescence management, and packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation tasks
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Logistics or Business field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
- Knowledge of cutting edge IT applications, including AI/ML, in terms of how they may be applied to support logistics and sustainment activities
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field
