Configuration Manager/Tech Writer
Our team is seeking a Configuration Manager/Tech Writer (contingent upon funding).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience. OR AA/AS and 6 years of experience. OR High School Diploma and 10 years of experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Citizenship & Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Must be eligible to obtain & maintain a Secret clearance.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $55,000-83,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

Configuration Manager/Tech Writer
Our team is seeking a Configuration Manager/Tech Writer (contingent upon funding).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain configuration management processes for software and hardware assets, including version control and change tracking.
- Monitor and document software deployment, inventory status, and desktop configurations.
- Manage software licenses to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Analyzes requirements, develops source material, consults engineering and technical staff and works with editors, illustrators and the like in preparing a draft.
- Writes technical documents such as procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment.
- Includes operational specifications, bulletins, articles, service manuals, and marketing publications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration records, and system user guides.
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather, clarify, and document system requirements and updates.
- Ensure documentation is consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational standards and customer requirements.
