Tyto Athene is searching for a Junior Computer Analyst (NOC) to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.
The Junior Computer Analyst (NOC) provides entry-level support for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure. This role supports 24/7 operations and works under the supervision of senior analysts and engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network and system resources.

Tyto Athene is searching for a Junior Computer Analyst (NOC) to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.
The Junior Computer Analyst (NOC) provides entry-level support for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure. This role supports 24/7 operations and works under the supervision of senior analysts and engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network and system resources.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network, server, and application health using NOC tools and dashboards
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service interruptions by following established procedures
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to senior staff according to escalation guidelines
- Document incident details, actions taken, and resolution steps in the ticketing system
- Perform basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and other infrastructure components
- Maintain logs, shift reports, and handoff documentation for 24/7 coverage
- Support routine system checks, patching coordination, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with asset tracking, cable management, and inventory tasks as needed
- Communicate status updates clearly to stakeholders and team leads
- Follow all security and operational guidelines for handling sensitive information and systems
- Provides Tier 1 troubleshooting for network incidents, diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, hardware, and software failures
Required:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience in IT help desk, support, or monitoring environment
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Desired:
- Associate's degree in related field
- Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Splunk)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge
- CompTIA Network+
Clearance:
- Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Certification:
- DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
- CompTIA Security+

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
