Job Overview
EGS is looking for a Unified Communications Specialist to support our and our Federal Customer's critical mission. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UC Specialist to support the deployment, operations, and maintenance of Federal Government Telephony Systems in locations throughout the US. The role will assist with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and day to day management of secure voice communications infrastructure in a mission critical environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills while supporting our Federal mission.
**Travel Up To 75%**
Core Responsibilities:
Traveling to customer sites throughout the US for Site Surveys
Identifying equipment needed for deployment
Update Trackers as required for proper configuration and installations
Installation, test, document, and training of newly installed solutions
Monitor and Troubleshoot EVOIP systems
Identifying potential problems and responding quickly to mitigate any impact on system performance
Assist with inventory tracking
Assist with O&M
Requirements:
Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
Bachelor's Degree or 2 Years of experience and relevant technical certification or 4 years of experience
Comfortable in directly interfacing with customer and dealing with customer needs
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Avaya products, Microsoft TAC, and Power BI
