About the Role:
Horizon Global Partners (HgP) is seeking a highly skilled MBSE Modeler / Architect to support the design and architecture of complex C5ISR systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining unified architecture models that guide system development from concept through implementation, while aligning with U.S. and international defense standards.
This position requires expertise in modeling frameworks such as UAF, DoDAF, or MODAF, and hands-on experience with SysML-based tools like Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) or similar. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and contribute to strategic system planning, architecture design, and technical documentation across the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain system architecture models using SysML/UAF within MBSE tools such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or Rhapsody.
Define system boundaries, interfaces, behaviors, and structure for C5ISR platforms, aligned with operational, capability, and technical views.
Create and manage traceability from stakeholder requirements through to architectural and design artifacts.
Lead model reviews, architecture walkthroughs, and system design sessions with internal teams and client stakeholders.
Translate high-level operational needs into detailed models that support analysis, simulation, and trade-off decisions.
Integrate MBSE processes with digital engineering and configuration management pipelines.
Provide architectural input to interface control documents, CONOPS, CONUSE, and V&V plans.
Align modeling efforts with applicable standards such as ISO 42010, UAF, DoDAF, MODAF, and Saudi defense guidelines.
Collaborate closely with MNG and SANGCOM representatives to ensure cultural alignment and mission relevance in model development.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in MBSE or systems architecture roles supporting complex technical programs.
Proficiency in SysML and modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Sparx EA, or IBM Rhapsody.
Strong understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or equivalent.
Experience applying MBSE in defense, aerospace, or large-scale IT/telecom domains.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
INCOSE ASEP/CSEP certification.
Experience supporting Middle East defense clients, particularly MNG or SANGCOM programs.
Familiarity with Agile systems engineering, digital thread/digital twin, or DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of NATO architecture practices or GCC national frameworks.
