We are seeking a Principal Cloud Architect with a unique blend of hands-on technical proficiency and strategic architectural leadership, specifically focused on mission-critical Federal and Intelligence Community (IC) programs. This role demands a seasoned professional who can lead enterprise-grade cloud solutioning, engage directly with senior government stakeholders, and deliver measurable business and mission value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bridge cloud engineering and business strategy to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions that support national security objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships across client and partner organizations, ensuring solution relevance and longevity.
  • Support the sales team in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers and support staff, ensuring timely and successful project delivery through technical guidance and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and uncover additional business opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, systems integration, and Enterprise deployments.
  • Proven experience in migrating and integrating complex enterprise systems to cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, compliance, and data protection.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) preferred.


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a senior or principal cloud architecture role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, systems integration, and large-scale deployments.
  • Proven experience in migrating and integrating complex enterprise systems to cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, compliance, and data protection.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrated experience integrating security, compliance, and governance into cloud design and operations.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance required.
