Space Systems Data Architect, Senior
The Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for national security.
As a data architect on our national security intelligence team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for Service Oriented Architecture, databasing, data analytics, cloud computing, data visualization, and GUI development. You'll develop novel ways to database from disparate data feeds and lakes and solve architecture- related issues in collaboration with intelligence analysts and technology teams by discovering relevant databases and the architectures that support them, providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments, and ultimately developing a way ahead for developing or repurposing an existing database to be used as a Space Force Electronic Warfare database .
In this role, you'll grow your technical expertise and apply best practices of zero t rus t, cross-domain data sharing, data tagging, cloud knowledge such as AWS GovCloud and Azure IL5 or IL6, experience and understanding of data lakes and warehouses, and data modeling. You'll use tools like AWS Glue, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Git, SQL, Python, Scala, or Spark to design database, data models, ETL processes, data warehouse applications, and visualizations or GUIs as necessary. You'll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with SIGINT and FISINT analysis
- Knowledge of DoD and IC SIGINT and FISINT research and analysis methods, procedures, and documentation processes
- Ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns
- Ability to develop software coding
- Ability to develop data source interfaces for data development
- Ability to develop innovative methods to intercept and analyze signals
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure situations
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
Nice If You Have:
- 17+ years of experience in data architecture
- Experience with FISINT and SIGINT databases
- Experience designing and developing web-based interfaces to design a graphical user interface (GUI)
- Experience encoding all functioning software solutions to detect changes in the operational environment, detect threats and flags changes
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master's degree
