Position Summary:
Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer/Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES contract at Schriever Space Force Base. This role focuses on SharePoint solution design, development, administration, and user support within a dynamic and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will:
- Administer and maintain the SharePoint environment, including permissions, web part configuration, list/library management, and integration with Office clients.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable SharePoint Online solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Serve as the primary support resource for SharePoint inquiries from content managers and end-users.
- Provide training and advocacy for content management best practices and collaboration strategies.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SharePoint governance policies, standards, and styling guidelines.
- Customize and enhance SharePoint pages, workflows, navigation structures, search features, and taxonomy.
- Implement automated workflows using SharePoint Designer, Nintex, and custom forms via InfoPath (as applicable).
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve SharePoint performance and user experience.
- Support late-night maintenance windows for patching and perform other SharePoint-related tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have 2 or more years of experience in SharePoint development
- Must have a current DoD 8570 Level II or higher certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE)
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain an interim in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Power BI
- ITIL Foundation certification
- MCTS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuration certification
- MCTS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Configuration certification
Compensation:
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
