The successful candidate will leverage their ServiceNow integration and development experience to maintain and expand the customer’s environment.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
• Lead Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) integration with ServiceNow development and implementation to meet the design specifications using best practice and out of the box functionality.
• Assist the ServiceNow team, service management personnel, enterprise architect, and Code 104 with implementing and sustaining ServiceNow modules.
• Work with the key stakeholders within Code 104, Department 10 and the ServiceNow functional analyst to ensure successful implementation and roll out and sustainment.
• Support the development of ServiceNow modules using industry best practices.
• Support the development of integration between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Support the development of complex workflows within ServiceNow.
• Support the development of new data tables within ServiceNow to support ongoing work.
• Generate reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.
• Create Knowledge Articles to document work where appropriate.
• Perform operational support for system defects as they arise.
• Perform basic system administration duties with ServiceNow.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Provide end users support for developed applications.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Address configuration changes to the ServiceNow platform.
• Coordinate testing activities using the ServiceNow Test Administration Suite.
• Triage incoming ServiceNow support issues and attend to the current backlog of open incidents and defects.
• Develop plans for execution of the design and the deployment of ServiceNow, integrating the output into an Enterprise ITSM customer user interface (in ServiceNow).
• Be familiar with the Enterprise Configuration Management Data Base (CMBD) and incorporate ServiceNow’s CMDB solution that is extended to include capabilities in the legacy CMDB solution that are not offered in ServiceNow.
• Develop ITSM solution for Code 104 business areas, which include IT operations, asset management, cyber security including RMF and IT customer service functions.
• Analyze user requirements and design digital tool and application solutions to meet specified needs. Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, User experience/User Interface (UX/UI) designers, and quality assurance, throughout the software/application development lifecycle. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface aligns with user experience expectations.
• Debug and troubleshoot application and tool defects, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance digital applications development skills.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Implement and adhere to application coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing software-related issues for digital applications.
• Participate in Agile or other development methodologies to ensure timely and iterative software/application delivery.
• Continuously optimize and improve existing software applications for better performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate enhancements into software application solutions.
• Maintain awareness of software application development tools and recommend updates or new technologies as needed.

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years’ experience in designing and implementing ITSM solutions
• CSWF Level IAT-III-- CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP certification required.
