Position Summary - Contract
We are seeking a Level 3 Electrical Engineer to join a high-impact team designing and integrating complex avionics and electrical systems for advanced military aerospace platforms, including the MQ-25 program. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a product line that will be reused across multiple programs, supporting system readiness, hardware qualification, and in-platform testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and integrate electrical and avionics subsystems across 5+ interconnected components.
Support flight qualification of avionics and black box hardware.
Develop and manage product specifications and system documentation.
Execute on-platform testing and validation of aircraft electrical systems.
Apply MIL-STD and EMI/security compliance to relay and wiring systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally within a multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Coordinate procurement and subcontractor deliverables.
Support readiness for deployment and maintenance computing systems integration.
Tools & Technical Environment
CAD & PLM: NX (Unigraphics), Teamcenter
Modeling: CAMEO (SysML)
Documentation: Microsoft Word, Jira (for backlog/workflow tracking)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical/avionics system design and integration.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for Secret Clearance (interim acceptable).
