Job Description
The Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Principal Subcontract Administrator to join our team. This role has responsibility for all phases of subcontract execution and supplier performance through the coordination, negotiation, and management of highly complex proposals and subcontracts under minimal to no supervision. ACES encompasses both franchise and long-established production programs alongside new keystone development opportunities that will shape the future; much of the work is a SAP/SAR level and it is mandatory that candidates already possess their Secret clearance, or is in process of obtaining.
The selected individual will work on the world's most advanced electronics and deliver next-generation threat detection, countermeasure, and full-spectrum electronic warfare capabilities that enhance mission survivability and ultimately bring the Warfighter home safe. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely in Nashua, New Hampshire. Candidate shall possess comprehensive knowledge of business agreements, government and commercial contracting methods, and federal DOD regulations while being able to work independently as well as manage cross functional program teams on all subcontract and supply chain related issues; multi-tasking is crucial for success. Must be able to assess, prioritize, and drive issues to closure while exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.

Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Regular duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a Subcontract/Supply Chain strategy that encompasses all facets of end-to-end sourcing with a focus on driving supplier excellence via the procurement of critical materials, equipment, supplies, software, and services of a highly specialized nature.
- Establish, maintain, and foster relationships and communications between BAE Systems and subcontractors while earning and sustaining confidence of Program Offices to become a trusted business partner for program execution.
- P repare RFPs and evaluate submitted proposals , develop evaluation criteria, negotiate subcontract provisions, select / recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages for review and award, and negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
- Management of overall performance of subcontractors to support the achievement of contract, technical, schedule, quality and financial performance objectives.
- Identify risks and opportunities and create/drive plans to mitigate and realize them.
- Support material sales forecasting and drive performance to operating plans.
- Ensure quick resolution of technical and programmatic issues by leveraging and integrating the capabilities of the entire organization.
- Participate in and contribute to Subcontract and Supply Chain management reviews, technical meetings, and subcontractor partner assessments and audits.
- Generate and author Subcontract Management Plans compliant to command media and identify measures for managing subcontractors.
- Support planning, execution and reporting of outsourced material and labor budgets, and estimate at completion (EAC) inputs.
- Work closely with Operations Proposal Group to develop supply chain strategies including packaging work and negotiating to support the price to win.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of subcontractors in complex industries.
- Experience leading major procurement efforts in a Department of Defense (DOD) contracting environment.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirements.
- Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
- Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.
- Strong working experience generating, negotiating and executing major subcontracts/purchases.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual conflicts with subcontractors through negotiations and contractual vehicles.

- Graduate degree in a related field.
