Amentum is seeking a Division Director to lead the Threat Mitigation portfolio, supporting defense and intelligence government customers in our Intelligence & Cyber Business Unit. This role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and business development expertise to ensure program success and division growth. The Division Director will manage a team of Program Managers and work closely with Finance, Contracts, Human Resources and other functional operations to achieve performance objectives.

- Provide visionary leadership and direction for programs within the Threat Mitigation Division, driving alignment with Amentum's mission and long-term goals.
- Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities within the designated customer space, expanding the division's portfolio.
- Oversee division financial performance, ensuring P&L targets are met and continuously optimized for sustained growth.
- Build and maintain key relationships with government customers, executive leadership, and internal stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and innovation.
- Lead large-scale engineering, cyber, training, technical contracts, and/or critical mission support programs, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture, prioritizing talent development, retention, and succession planning.
- Drive transformational change initiatives, improving processes, team structures, and operational effectiveness to support long-term division growth.
- Ensure all contracts and operations adhere to regulatory requirements, security protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Define and track performance indicators such as growth targets, program execution benchmarks, and financial KPIs to ensure success in the role.
- Must be willing to travel within the DC/MD/VA region, engaging with both customer sites and Amentum corporate locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 15 years of experience, with 10 years in a leadership role managing P&L responsibilities.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale engineering & technical contracts aligned with the division's mission.
- Proven experience overseeing P&L exceeding $100M annually and managing teams of 100 personnel.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, industrial systems, and strategic risk management.
- Established relationships with relevant government customers and industry leaders.
- Ability to foster an environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
