We are seeking a Junior ACAS Administrator to support the operation and sustainment of Tenable/Nessus/ACAS tools in both classified and unclassified DoD environments. This is an entry-level cybersecurity role focused on running scans, maintaining dashboards, and supporting routine system tasks as part of a broader Zero Trust initiative.
This is a hybrid position based at the Mark Center, with 2-3 days of onsite work weekly required to support SIPR access.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration of Tenable/Nessus/ACAS scanning tools across hybrid environments.
- Coordinate with senior system administrators and engineers to execute scheduled scanning activities.
- Ensure scan results are delivered in a timely and accurate manner to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of:
- Scan policies and zones
- Dashboards and reporting tools
- SOPs and technical documentation
- Respond to incidents under guidance from senior staff.
- Help maintain system compliance with STIGs, FISMA, and FIPS security standards.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and supporting documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with Tenable/Nessus/ACAS or similar vulnerability scanning tools.
- Active Secret (Tier 3) clearance.
- Security+ or IAT Level II
Familiarity with:
- Vulnerability scan execution
- Basic cybersecurity principles and DoD standards
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to STIGs, FISMA, and other DoD compliance standards.
- Experience working in classified or hybrid environments (cloud/on-prem).
- Eagerness to grow into an intermediate role and gain experience in interpreting scan data.
