System and Network Administrator

We're looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in cloud technology, Windows, cyber and Cisco networking to help us develop a sustainable cybersecurity ICS test lab for the DoD.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is secure, functional and available, ready to add the next Industrial Control Systems (ICS) test system, and update and patch all lab systems. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cyber vulnerabilities and patches, Continuous Monitoring and Maintenance of ATO, ICS integration and management of entire network. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with administering Cloud Technology, VMWare, Linux, Windows, and Cisco networks
- Experience with Bash or Powershell
- Experience analyzing OS or Operational Technology (OT) cyber threats
- Experience in a systems engineering or systems administration role
- Knowledge of IP networking and network administration
- Ability to continuously monitor networks
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with writing scripts to tie together services, functionalities, and tools using technologies, including Python scripting, Bash, Boto3, PowerShell, and YML and JSON templates
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with additional tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
- Knowledge of administration and security of SQL servers
- Ability to automate the stand up and take down of virtual machines ansible or other approaches
- Ability to use automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code to manage installations, pipelines, and scripting
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or technical engineering field
- OS Certification in VMWare, AWS Solutions Architect or Cisco
