Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Satellite Operations Technical Project Coordinator to join a Federal Program in Lanham, MD. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing multiple projects supporting development and operations of a satellite constellation.
Responsibilities of the Satellite Operations Technical Project Coordinator include:
· Define and manage project tasks, timelines, and resources.
· Maintain project tracking and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
· Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate task status and completion.
· Identify and resolve project gaps to meet objectives.
· Develop and report on project schedules and performance metrics, including for in-orbit satellite operations.
· Define requirements for automating performance data collection.
· Support creation and maintenance of on-orbit procedures and configuration management processes for mission operations products.
· Contribute to system development activities such as design and readiness reviews, requirements definition, architecture planning, integration, and testing.
Qualifications for the Satellite Operations Technical Project Coordinator include:
· Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; 2-5+ years of experience preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and task tracking capabilities.
· Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Windows environments.
· Familiar with satellite operations software and engineering analysis tools.
· Experience in project management and process development.
· Able to work independently and adapt to evolving requirements.
· Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Comfortable working remotely with diverse, distributed teams.
· Capable of performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Compensation for the Satellite Operations Technical Project Coordinator includes:
· Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
