Job Description
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Development, integration, and advanced processing of
state-of-the-art digital sensors and data collection/processing technology. The
responsibilities include multi-band sensor system design, development, integration, data
collection support, and platform integration.
QUALIFICATIONS: BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years
of experience. Experience in analog and digital electronics with knowledge of signal,
image, and data processing. Experience in component and system hardware design.
Knowledge in some or several of these areas is preferred:
• Xilinx SOC FPGA hardware design using RTL in VHDL and embedded software
design.
• Printed Circuit Board design using Altium Designer.
• Electronic component and sub-system design and integration.
• Familiar with Aerospace wiring best practices for systems.
• Design and Development of EO/IR focal plane array electronics.
• Data acquisition electronics for electro-optical and infrared sensors.
• Experience with C/C++, MATLAB, optics, focal plane array and sensor technology
desired.
Position supports a US Government contract. U. S. citizenship required and
ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. Existing DOD Secret Clearance
preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 - $125,000.00 per year depending on experience.
