Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Journeyman Mechanical System Engineer to assist the F-22 Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, UT. The F-22 Program Office is a fast-paced environment supporting a broad array of Divisions and Branches who support the F-22 Raptor Fleet. The position will analyze Air Vehicle Mechanical Systems Architecture (AVMSA), including systems, major components, the relationships between them, how they collaborate to meet system requirements, and principles guiding their design and evolution. The successful candidate will help manage F-22 structural components, landing gear, skins, panels, and Low Observable coatings, as well as provide engineered solutions to the field, evaluate field waivers, resolve deficiencies, and review/revise maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing overall technical oversight and support strategic technical planning for all F-22 mechanical systems
- Directing/managing interfaces and coordination with the F-22 Government vehicle systems team, the Prime OEM Contractor/Subcontractor teams, and all other entities
- Responsible for mechanical equipment and subsystems integrity and monitoring closure of all mechanical systems technical issues
- Supporting operation evaluations and engineering analysis of the AVMSA capabilities
- Coordinating across IPTs to perform engineering assessments and technical evaluations
- Translating F-22 operational capabilities into engineering solutions
Required Skills
- Must be able to work on a team with fellow engineers
- Active Secret clearance with an ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility, if required
Required Experience
- Bachelor's or master's Degree with a major in engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program, at least three years of relevant engineering experience, and a minimum of three years in the DoD
- At least three years, five years preferred, of recent mechanical system engineering experience with the F-22 or other fighter/bomber aircraft in the modernization and sustainment phase of their life cycle

- Able to support approximately 10% travel
