Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Journeyman Mechanical and Technical Equipment Specialist to serve as an avionics technical advisor within the F-22 Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, UT. The F-22 Program Office is a fast-paced environment supporting a broad array of Divisions and Branches who support the F-22 Raptor Fleet. The chosen candidate must possess Technical and/or Mechanical Specialist expertise and provide technical assistance for assigned equipment and to serve as the technical expert to USAF organizations in terms of electronic, structural components, and/or mechanical equipment integration and technical data.

Responsibilities include:
- Participate in Technical Data reviews, provide input for reliability, and maintainability projects, technical reviews of contract documents, participate in root cause corrective action solutions for deficiencies and input for maintenance troubleshooting and ground operations
- Provide all necessary support for mission assigned electronic systems/subsystems.
- Assist in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and/or development of specialized information systems and components
- Review mechanical and/or technical equipment/component performance against established baselines, specifications, and/or maintenance history and ensure that new and/or modified mechanical and/or technical systems or components will satisfactorily interface with existing equipment
- Develop, improve, and/or provide necessary technical data to support acquisition and sustainment
- Provide equipment recommendations based on situation-specific information/requirements (e.g., manufacturing processes, maintenance requirements, associated equipment and conditions needed for operations and repairs, equipment composition)
- Evaluate maintenance requirements of mechanical and technical systems and components (e.g., services, repair, overhaul, preventative
Required Skills
- Technical expertise with the F-22 or 5th Generation Fighter
- Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility, if required
Required Experience
- Bachelor's or master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD
Desired Qualifications
- Avionics maintenance background, such as a retired or separated former Air Force Maintainer
- Able to support approximately 10% travel
