Receptionist needed to work at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Texas
BACKGROUND: The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas is charged with enforcing federal criminal laws and with representing the federal government in civil litigation in the district.
Place of Performance: US Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Texas, McAllen and Houston, TX.
Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months, and four (4) 12-month option years.
Schedule: Government offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility closings. Contractor’s work hours may vary.
Requirements:
• Requires skill in operating a computer to produce a wide range of documents, create spreadsheets, or databases
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provides a variety of receptionist and clerical support duties for litigation staff, which involve the utilization of work processing software and filing.
• In addition, duties include the enforcement of pertinent administrative rules and regulations governing facility access. Contractor must be able to apply judgment in conducting daily work, interacting with others, and taking initiative in planning tasks to be accomplished.
• The receptionist will work under the direction of the Office Manager.
