Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Support Integration Specialistto join our teams supporting the KC-46 Programs at Edwards AFB, CA. (Note: Candidate must be deemed physically able to perform Aircraft Maintenance type work after a medical evaluation.)
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads establishing support requirements, costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work break-down, reports, master schedule, program implementation and integration plans
- Leads creating estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts
- Monitors process development and coordination of activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current
- Creates and leads presentations, status reviews, and monitors execution of support programs
- Reviews program and engineering change proposals and assesses product support impact
- Plans, organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment
- Ensures, documents and dispositions aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures
- DEFINITION OF TERM: *Maintenance means inspection, overhaul, repair, preservation, and the initial installation and/or replacement of parts | **Preventive maintenance means simple or minor preservation operations and the replacement of small standard parts not involving complex assembly operations | ***Alterations means modifications that permanently or temporarily change an airplane from its original design configuration
- Maintains and tracks Company and FAA required records and inspection forms
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- Plan and organize the sequence of your own work and others work package in such a way as to promote safe, efficient operation and meet predetermined schedules in a timely manner
- Operate any and all types of information systems required to perform assigned tasks; including but not limited to Company and Customer WEB based systems and Microsoft Office products
- Interpret and plan to the requirements of airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and other approved/accepted data
- Make production aids to facilitate work assignment
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work
- Exchange information with suppliers, customers or other company representatives to explain or demonstrate operations, tests or difficulties
- Physical requirements: work demands moderate to strenuous effort, must be able to frequently lift items ranging from 20 to 50 pounds, must have the ability to stand for frequent periods of time, and must be able to perform tasks that may require climbing, crawling, kneeling, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing and other related activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed
- Must be able to complete Fall Protection Training
- Experience working with precision measuring tools
- 5+ years of Avionics and/or Mechanical experience working with military aircraft
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of maintenance experience on KC-46 aircraft
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Hold or have held a U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
