Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Technical Project Coordinator to support one of our partners on-site in Lanham, MD. The Technical Project Manager will be joining a fast growing satellite communications company that is focused on ramping up in order to launch multiple satellites per month. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects supporting development and operations of a satellite constellation.

Responsibilities for the Technical Project Coordinator include:
· Define tasks and resources required for specific projects
· Develop and maintain project tracking using Jira
· Communicate with stakeholders to document accurate task completion data
· Identify gaps, and work to resolve them to achieve specific goals
· Develop, track, and report project timelines
· Identify innovative performance metrics for operational tasks such as in-orbit satellite tests
· Define requirement for automated collection of performance metrics
· Support development and maintenance of on-orbit procedures
· Develop process for configuration management of operations products such as mission operations procedures, mission rules, test plans, telemetry displays, and other mission operations products
· Support system development activities such as design reviews, readiness reviews, requirements management, architecture development, integration & test, and formal program milestones
Qualifications for the Technical Project Coordinator include:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field.
· 2-5+ years experience in project management.
· Comfortable working in a Windows environment
· Demonstrated ability to document tasks and track them to closure
· Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
· Familiarity with satellite command and control operations software and products
· Ability to work in an environment with rapidly evolving requirements
· Ability to work in a remote, distributed team with diversified individuals with varying backgrounds to achieve mission success
· Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
Compensation for the Technical Project Coordinator include:
· Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 *depending on experience*
