TITLE: Electrical Hardware Design Engineer with active Secret clearance (US Citizenship is REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $60/hr - $71/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: ACTIVE Secret Security clearance REQUIRED
LOCATION: Onsite in Dedham MA 02026, 9/80 schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, defining routing constraints, directing PCB/PWB layout and routing activities, and supporting the manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification of the hardware system. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and customers to develop systems that meet their high expectations. In this role, you will primarily support the Cyber business area developing mission computers, sensor processors, and stores management hardware.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Designing electrical hardware using the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite, high-speed digital and high-density circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, designs using fiber optic interfaces, and advanced working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers.
Understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program
Experience with circuit card designs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces
Working knowledge of the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite for schematic entry, constraint manager, and HyperLynx Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis
Ability to persevere through design challenges with minimal direction
Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to drive innovation and secure buy-in on your concepts and ideas
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
