MicroHealth is seeking a Medical Device Logistics Planner Logistics Equipment Planner to join our team supporting the National Capital Region (NCR) Medical Devices Integration and Logistics (MDILS) contract. This position provides critical support to the Medical Device System Security (MDSS) PMO for NCR Directorate of Defense Health Agency (DHA), specifically Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC), including logistics program management support and MHS GENESIS medical equipment integration.
Secret clearance required and must meet DoD 8570 requirements.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, plan, and coordinate the procurement, distribution, and maintenance of equipment and supplies for government operations
Conduct equipment analysis: assess current inventory levels, usage patterns, and future equipment needs
Develop strategic planning: create long-term logistics plans aligned with organizational objectives
Coordinate procurement: work with vendors and contracting officers to acquire necessary equipment
Manage budgets: monitor and manage equipment budgets and cost forecasts
Oversee supply chain: ensure efficient flow of materials and equipment through the supply chain
Ensure compliance: verify all activities meet federal regulations and procurement guidelines
Perform data analysis: utilize logistics software and databases to track equipment lifecycle and performance
Coordinate with stakeholders: collaborate with various departments to understand equipment requirements
Track MTF medical devices procurement activities
Review, clarify, and interpret manufacturer documentation and technical manuals
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in logistics equipment planning
Secret clearance required
Must meet DoD 8570 requirements
Experience with government procurement processes
Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR)
Proficiency in logistics management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary:
$65,000 - $70,000
