* Strong knowledge of material specifications and metallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirements
Job Description:
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
* As a mechanical analysis engineer for Undersea Mission Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and analysis of critical undersea hardware.

* Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, and ability to train others on these tools
* Experience with Shock Grade B by analysis
* Strong knowledge of material specifications and metallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirements
* Knowledge of weld types (MIL-STD-22) and processes (TP-1688 and 278)

* Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools, especially Creo, to create mechanical models and drawings
* Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
