Job Summary
The successful candidate must understands shipboard C4I installations, coordinates diverse tasks with the ability to work with minimum supervision, and is a team player. Possesses strong verbal communication skills with ship forces, vendors, and peers. Works under pressure, multitasks, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Position is located in Pascagoula, MS.
Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supports NIWC LANT Surface Ship Integration Division, coordinates with Ships Force, Commanding Officers, NIWC LANT AIT Managers, provides installation management oversight of shipyard and other installation contractors and tradesmen. Coordinates with all parties to de-conflict installation issues and coordinate requirements. Resolves issues in advance that may slow production and affect meeting milestones. Attends Production Meetings, develops and maintains installation POA&Ms. Provides support and oversite to keep the installation contractor on schedule and provides SITREPS to higher authority. Reviews installation drawing packages, Statements of Work, identifies critical path and makes recommendations for efficient execution. Provides verbal and written reports (SITREPS) to higher authority on the status and progress of all shipboard installations and milestones. Monitors and reports on NWIC LHA C4ISR shipboard installations such as CANES, DS, NAVSSI, NMT, ADNS, NAVMACS, and COMSEC equipment onboard US Navy ships at public and private shipyards.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least twelve (12) years of experience with degree/formal training or fourteen (14) years with HS/GED. Must have a US Navy C4ISR background preferred and be proficient in MS Excel.

High School Diploma or a GED alternative.
