Our NORAD Operations Group
Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided:
• Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space.
• Mitigation of orbital conflicts.
• Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities.
• Operations and maintenance of classified communications.
• Software development and integration.
NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:
• Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado
• Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
• Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
• Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
• Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The Logistics Manager supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
• Support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.
• Have knowledge in all areas covering logistics.
• Understand the process of all warehouse functions such as receiving, issuing, tagging material and ensuring all material is processed and issued correctly in a timely manner. Inventories will be tracked and finished before deadlines up to and including all sites involved with the NISSC II contract. There may be times where responsible and correct decisions must be made in accordance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
• Process and review timecards for a group of employees.
• Have direct contact with the customer and must be able to communicate clearly as well as explain reports and spreadsheets due to the customer. Time management and flexibility is a must.
• Properly manage and direct small to large groups of individuals to ensure the accomplishment and good order of all tasks is complete for the NISSC II contract.
This position will be filled and work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO

Basic Requirements:
• 6 years of general work experience
• 5 years of directly related experience
• 2 years of experience managing/leading people or projects
• Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
• Must have an active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Desired Requirements:
• Experience in government approved property management systems.
• Experience working with DPAS.
• Experience in submitting contract documents
• Experience in doing contract surveillance response
• Experience in submitting DD250s, DD1348,
• Experience in DLA-DS turn-in's
This position is expected to pay $85,000 - $105,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
