Logistics Exercise Planner
The Opportunity:

If you're looking for the opportunity to build a legacy, solve difficult problems, and support the warfighter, the answer is a Logistics Exercise Plans Analyst at the U.S. Marine Corps. At the Marine Corps, you'll find the dynamic challenge of answering logistics issues that allow operations to take place giving commander s time and space to make decisions. You'll be a part of a fast-moving, high-impact team of fellow Booz Allen analysts who develop solutions for the ever-changing regionally based logistics requirements. As part of the team, your work will allow marines to move from concept to deployment without corroding momentum. This work ranges from tactical to operational and in many ways aids the organization during crisis, hostility, or war. There is no greater challenge than to understand requirements and assist the planning for exercises. Your work could shape future operations by informing current military exercises which build precious experience that save lives, time, and resources.
This analyst will c ond uct analysis, provide recommendations, and support staff planning and integration for the development of logistics exercise support plans. You'll review crisis and contingency response concepts of operations and develop functional exercise plans, standard operating procedures ( SOPs ) , and annexes to support the episodic deployment of Marine Corps forces in theater. You'll support component-level participation in Combatant Command and service conferences, working groups, and exercises to align service capabilities and activities with Joint and service strategic objectives. Your work will aid the development of decision-support products to inform senior-leader decisions.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with various logistic disciplines and harmonizing logistic efforts across multiple communities of interest to ensure greatest success with limited resources
- Experience with order development, course of action development, working groups, operational planning teams, and linking internal command directorates to inform logistic processes
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, to perform daily duties to support initial, mid, and final planning conferences and execution of the exercises
- TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Business field
Nice If You Have:
- 10+ years of experience with Marine Corps service
- Experience leading and developing small high-power teams
- Experience in logistic planning
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Possession of excellent customer service, analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
- Master's degree in a Business field
