Job Description
Ennoble First is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on support for virtualized environments, system administration, and hardware refresh efforts. The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Unix and Windows-based systems while maintaining security compliance and optimizing system performance.
Join a cutting-edge program supporting the U.S. Space Force's Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS)-a vital component of the nation's missile warning and defense network. As part of the team, you'll contribute to operating and maintaining ground control systems that support a constellation of advanced infrared satellites detecting ballistic missile launches. With Lockheed Martin as the primary contractor, this program is at the forefront of sustaining and evolving the Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared (Next-Gen OPIR) and Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) systems. Be part of a mission-critical effort ensuring national security while advancing cutting-edge space technology.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy solutions to maintain virtualized computer system environments.
- Lead technical development projects and hardware refresh efforts.
- Provide on-site maintenance and support for Unix and Windows systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
- Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery, hardware/system monitoring, and system maintenance.
- Create and manage user, administrator, and service accounts.
- Fine-tune system performance, maintain system documentation, install system-wide software, and allocate mass storage space.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- BS and 5+ years' experience
- Experience with Windows, Linux, RHEL, AIX, Solaris, or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Windows and UNIX preferred.
- Strong system troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member in a dynamic environment.
- Previous SIBRS experience
