Summary
The Shift Supervisor oversees the operations of their shift and its personnel. The duties include guard mount, weapons and ammunition issue, turn-in and accountability, supervision of security operations, scheduling, quality management and the safety program. The shift supervisor review logs and reports activities, incidents and management issues to the site COG and records items in the "Daily Journal." The Shift Supervisor files formal reports and ensures their accuracy and completeness to meet the 24hr reporting requirement. The Shift Supervisor is the primary on-duty CSI POC, and a Shift Supervisor will be posted on-site 24/7. Supervisors will be responsible for the safe operation and routine driver maintenance of all CSI vehicles. Shift Supervisors counsel employees and enforce Chenega Policies.

Responsibilities
- Manages a shift of armed security professionals. Ensuring they are fit, ready, and able to carry out duties using the SSP, CPs, and SOPs.
- Acts as liaison between the security officers and the COG.
- Reports violations of security procedures to the COR or KO.
- Implements applicable plans, regulations, and SOPs in daily operations.
- Oversees security operations and enacts corrective actions to ensure requirements are met.
- Manages schedule and ensures sufficient qualified personnel are available to cover posts.
- Conducts guard mount; briefing issues and policies, deliver daily training, and perform post checks.
- Prepares shift logs, documenting and submitting reports on incidents and activities.
- Oversees the use of the IESS to surveil the restricted area boundary and individual resources.
- Is accountable for weapons, ammunition, and sensitive items inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior E-6 or above in a combat arms or military police military occupation specialty (MOS) such as infantry, US Army/Marines Military Police, AF Security Forces, U.S.
- Navy Master at Arms or must have attained the rank of sergeant in a U.S. police department.
- An additional one (1) year of experience as a shift supervisor may be substituted for the minimum rank requirement stated above.
- Must have previous experience supervising at least 15 personnel for a minimum of one (1) year.
- Pass a Physical Agility Test: 1.5 mile run 17:30 minutes or less, 19 pushups in 2:00 minutes or less
- Pass an in-depth Background Check, Drug Screen and Physical Exam, Psychological Exam, Dental Exam, and Training Course
- S. Citizenship and at least 21 years of age
- Active Secret Clearance
- Valid US driver's license with ability to obtain Japanese license 4EJ.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance verified in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
- Must pass and maintain the required medical, psychological, physical and reliability requirements as outlined in AR 190-56.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize and work on projects independently.
- Possess strong analytical and technical writing skills.
- Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, such as the Microsoft Office suite (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills to engender rapport with military personnel, civilians, and other contracts at all levels of government.
