HX5 is currently seeking a qualified Digital Engineering Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in Colorado Springs, CO.

HX5 is currently seeking a qualified Digital Engineering Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in Colorado Springs, CO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive culture and adoption of MBSE throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE and providing training
and support to the team. - Provide systems engineering leadership to a diverse team consisting of traditional SEs, Model-Based SEs, CM Analysts,
Enterprise Architects, Program and Data analysts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to
ensure a cohesive and integrated SE approach. - Manage, mentor, and teach engineers in the development of model-based environments and transformation of manual
document-based environments and processes. - Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines.
- Provide status and briefings to leadership, to include senior government customers and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent analytical thinking, strategic planning, and effective communication
Basic Requirements:
- Must have 4, or more, years of systems engineering experience
- Must have experience in leadership roles (e.g. direct reports, technical projects)
- Must have strong knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF)
- Must have strong knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML)
- Must have experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Salary:
- This position is expected to pay $100,000 - $141,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

- Have a bachelor's degree in an IT or STEM related field

- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain the required clearance level by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
