Our work depends on Systems Administrator Sr Advisor joining our team to work alongside the VDI Engineer to develop and deploy a new VDI rollout project for the command. This is an opportunity to showcase your skills in the VDI realm and make it your own.
HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
• Work side-by-side with the engineer to maintain and deploy VDI thin clients
• Will work directly with SCCM/MECM to ensure patching/security compliance is handled and with the Service Desk department to troubleshoot issues with the hardware/software
• Project is still new to the command and open to valuable input to successfully complete this project in a timely manner
• Keeping master image and pools update and secured
• This is a hands on, direct with the customer position
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Degree or Technical Training in VMware and VDI Infrastructure
• Required Certifications: Security+
• Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: VMware, GPOs, AD, and VDI
• Security Clearance Level: Secret to start, must be able to attain TS/SCI
• Required Skills and Abilities: Communication and problem-solving skills will be highly valued
• Preferred Skills: FS Logix and/or Horizon Client experience preferred
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required - Yes
