TMC Technologies is in search of an IT Specialist to support a federal client in Washington, D.C. The candidate must have an active Top-Secret clearanceto be considered due to contract requirements. The IT Specialist is responsible for:
-Contractor shall work closely with SharePoint Administrators, Content Managers and end-users to help address content management and site creation/modification needs as well as trouble shoot issues reported by end users and the business clients.
-Contractor shall meet with customers to discuss and record information regarding requests, enhancements system problems, etc.
-Contractor shall gather requirements and information in order to perform proper development, maintenance and enhancements,
or in performing testing and/or system analysis.
-Contractor shall develop, maintain and enhance SharePoint content and applications based on the standards and guidelines setup by office policy.
-Contractor shall create and configure SharePoint sites, pages and web parts.
-Contractor shall provide training to government SharePoint Content Administrators and Content Managers.
-Contractor shall provide end user support for the business units who own the sites.
-Contractor shall conduct beginner, intermediate and advanced training sessions in the use of SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online.
-Contractor shall provide follow-up support by answering questions, demonstrating SharePoint functionality, and working through issues with users. This sometimes requires collaboration with the infrastructure side of the organization.
-Contractor shall be involved with major projects and will be expected to carry out certain tasks to facilitate the use of SharePoint for a specific purpose.
-Contractor shall regularly update product news flashes documenting key support and operational information about Microsoft products.
-Contractor shall provide and maintain a knowledge base of technical articles and troubleshooting tools and guides.
-Contractor shall manage support tickets through the web-based tool to ensure access and visibility of issues and their current status of resolution.
-Contractor shall be on-site at 100% of the time at the government location in DC 5 days a week.
Job Requirements
-Contractor shall possess a DoD Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance. Contractor shall have the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI.
-Contractor shall have experience providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online.
-Contractor shall have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Web, Database, and Application Design, Development and Implementation of moderate to complex systems.
-Contractor shall collaborate cross functionally to resolve complex and basic SharePoint issues.
-Contractor shall have experience developing SharePoint and SharePoint Online applications using custom Web Parts, custom master pages, features and site definitions.
-Contractor shall have experience packaging and deploying SharePoint solutions.
-Contractor shall have intermediate knowledge of the creation and customization of web parts using out-of-the-box standard functionality.
-Contractor shall have minimum of 2 years of experience with SharePoint 2013/2019/SE.
-Contractor shall have a minimum of five to seven years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
-Contractor shall have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience
-Preferred that the Contractor has previous FBI experience.
-Preferred SharePoint training experience.
-Preferred to have the following certifications:
-Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD); SharePoint Applications Microsoft -Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)SharePoint, or Microsoft Certified IT professional (MCIPT) SharePoint Administration 2013/2019, or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist
(MCTS)Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019
-Application Development or MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019, Configuring.
-BS/BA in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
