As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Security and Travel Support Specialist to oversee and coordinate essential security and travel operations. This role supports organizational readiness, employee safety, and the smooth execution of travel logistics. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative capabilities, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in high-paced environments.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Acquisition Program Management Support Specialist Responsibilities Include:

Perform a wide variety of complex security and travel support duties in support of the CN&SP division and program offices.

Maintain TS/SCI clearance and immediate SAP read-in to all AMIC APO special access programs.

Support AMIC Advance Program Office customers and higher headquarter security officials to ensure all security missions are accomplished. Interface with senior level official in the support of the AMIC Information Protections Office and Special Access, Advance Program Office. Supports the AMIC SAP/SAR program with knowledge and proficiency in the following security disciplines: INFOSEC, PERSEC, INDUSEC, COMSEC support, and JWICS IT Systems Program in support of SCI and SAP/SAR Programs.

Knowledgeable in the application of security directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to independently discharge AMIC Special Security Representative (SSR) and Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) duties and responsibilities. Interface with ACC A5/A8/9, ACC A23, ACC IP, ACC IAP (Foreign Disclosure), ACC AMIC/DS, DD, PK, PM, DRJ, and 633 ABW IP

OCONUS Travel Support for CN&SP USG Personnel;

Coordination for CN&SP personnel and prime Contractor personnel to travel out of the continental United States which consists of the following;

OCONUS Training coordination OCONUS Clearance Request Entry;

Processing and obtaining official & personal passports for individual travelers;

Processing visa paperwork for each country visited;

Coordinating with Air Force Security Agencies or applicable agencies if briefings are needed (and schedule accordingly);

Working with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance holders to conduct required security training prior to OCONUS travel;

Sending Security Clearances if needed;

Processing Common Access Card (CAC) applications;

Sending Command & Department Notifications of travel;

Processing CAC applications;

Creating and submitting Arming Letters/packages;

Assisting with scheduling and requirements for CONUS Replacement Center (CRC);

Tracking & verifying gear issued to personnel traveling OCONUS and from CRC;

Reviewing Letters of Authorization (LOAs);

Coordination of completion of OCONUS requirements for Contractors supporting CN&SP:

Submitting OCONUS Clearance Requests;

Reviewing and submitting Arming Packages;

Processing and obtaining official passports for individual travelers;

Processing visa request letters, as required, for each country visited;

Conducting training on OCONUS travel;

Assisting & coordinating training for Contractors for DoD requirements;

Maintaining an awareness of OCONUS travel requirements and coordinating dissemination of requirements and process changes to USG and Contractor personnel;

Coordinate travel arrangements (CONUS and OCONUS) for CN&SP USG personnel;

Provide program management, research, and logistical coordination support to the CN&SP. Conduct research into regulations concerning CNSP responsibilities and tasks. Analyze and evaluate confidential, sensitive and complex issues;

Implement and administer the special access programs (SAP) (personnel, industrial, and physical security), by utilizing DoD, United States Air Force (USAF), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), MAJCOM and local policies/directives for the construction, protection, and operation of SAP facilities (SAP-Fs);

Initiates and implements policies and procedures required to manage Information Protections, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and to protect SCI resources;

Serves as an SCI Control Officer responsible for managing collateral and SCI classified information and material within the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs);

Administers the SCI security clearance program for all assigned personnel, ensuring all required clearances are up-to-date and completed;

Provides oversight of unit and SSO security self-inspections and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with corrective action taken to the unit intelligence commander;

Process security violations and provide timely cyber notifications that enable industry to reduce risk to information systems;

Implement Industrial Security policies and procedures to ensure classified material, including Top Secret (TS)/SCI material, is released only to cleared Contractors and classified contracts are not awarded to uncleared Contractors;

Provide security oversight for assigned cleared Contractor facilities relative to establishment and maintenance of security program in compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP);

Reviews DD Form 254 and PWS security documentation in the process of contract award;

Coordinates security requirements for visits of secure Government areas and centers;

Reviews security regulations in coordination of personnel indoctrinations and perm certifications;

Analyze pertinent information and material facts to make an adjudication decision to grant staff like access to Contractors;

Makes recommendations based on applicable regulations and directives on requests for visits by foreign nationals, and provides security and disclosure guidance;

Research and share threat information with USG and Industry partners;

Advise and prepare all Personnel Security and administrative processes required during the course of classified contracts to include security classification specification, release of classified documents, authority to retain classified material at contract site or work center through the use of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or replacement system;

Review and evaluate reports of investigation and other background information in order to make suitability and national security adjudication determinations using the Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing, (e-QIP) replacement system;

Analyzes personnel issues to adjudicate investigations and criminal checks;

Conduct additional research to obtain additional criminal history or other background information as necessary in completing AF Form 2875;

Maintains operational security program to protect Government information;

Provides technical guidance on a variety of physical security equipment to effectively protect personnel and Governmental assets;

Establishes procedures to prevent unauthorized access to classified information and takes action when a security breach occurs.

Share the 24/7, after-hours alarm custodian response and guard for all assigned AMIC facilities.

Assist in the building operational security response and administration of Antiterrorism Countermeasure programs IAW Department of Homeland Security, General Services Administration (GSA) directives, Interagency Security Committee (ISC) guidance, and Federal Protection Services (FPS) guidance. Help administer the AMIC building access program (badge issue), mail room operations, and security plans and programs administrations.

COMSEC. Obtain, remove, replace, operate, store, transport, support, and manage all COMSEC items and key materials required to operate and sustain operations IAW AFMAN17-1302-O, Communications Security (COMSEC) Operations.

Perform COMSEC user duties IAW AFMAN 17-1302-O and the supporting base COMSEC account manager, requirements.

Acquisition Program Management Support Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering security and travel support programs.

Strong knowledge of travel planning tools and security best practices.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant travel management software.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Familiarity with Government travel regulations or experience in a Federal contracting environment is a plus.
