Position Title: Microsoft Windows System Administrator
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Work Schedule: Day shift - May require on-call support and occasional off-hours work for maintenance or incident response
Travel: Up to 10% of the time

Position Summary:
Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking a Microsoft Windows System Administrator to join our team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will:

• Perform daily and weekly system health checks on the FILAN (Facilities Infrastructure Local Area Network) Windows and network infrastructure to ensure proper system functionality.
• Monitor events using server management and patching tools, and respond appropriately to system alerts and performance data.
• Attend crew/team, staff, change, and configuration meetings.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by automating routine administrative functions when feasible.
• Administer Microsoft servers, workstations, and network infrastructure including troubleshooting, patching, and break/fix activities.
• Conduct system audit log reviews as required.
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve Remedy Incidents, address system errors or user issues, and ensure proper resource utilization and system performance.
• Perform system modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Must have 2 or more years of experience designing, integrating, or managing complex infrastructure solutions (e.g., VMware, Citrix, LAN/WAN design)
• Must have experience as a Windows systems engineer/administrator supporting a large enterprise, including knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2012R2/2016, and WSUS/SCCM Patch Management
• Must have general networking experience including switching and routing
• Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification or higher

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
