Description
Leidos Maritime System Solutions (MSS) is seeking a Principal Intelligence Analyst to join a growing, fast-paced engineering research, development, testing and evaluation team at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific. The selected candidate will be part of a world-class team responsible for acoustic algorithm development and validation. This individual will work closely with the government-industry analysis team as a subject matter expert. Work may involve supporting multiple projects, advising analysts, and writing detailed technical reports. This position will require the candidate to hold a Top-Secret Clearance. This position is part-time and requires the candidate to be on-site at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific in San Diego, CA for approximately 1 week per month.

Pay Range: Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00

Primary Responsibilities
- Acoustic algorithm development and validation
- Advise analysts on underwater acoustic signal types
- Perform highly technical analysis of acoustic data
- Advise team members on screening methods
- Write detailed technical reports
- Advise on software design and definition
- Provide expertise to multiple projects within the MSS portfolio
- Work closely with the government-industry analysis team as a subject matter expert
- Work on-site at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific in San Diego, CA approximately 1 week per month
Basic Qualifications
- Subject matter expert in the area of acoustic intelligence
- 30+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in small, collaborative teams comprised of both contractor and government scientists
- Prepared to show initiative and lead when needed
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently
- Ability to accomplish tasks independently with minimal oversight
- BS in Data Analytics or related field or 30+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship
- Currently holds a Top-Secret Clearance

- IUSS Master Analyst
