Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT and cybersecurity projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and contract requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, internal teams, and contract personnel
- Oversee planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management activities
- Ensure compliance with DoD and RMF standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and quality assurance processes
- Coordinate security controls implementation and assessment in accordance with RMF
- Provide technical guidance and risk-based decision-making in support of information assurance requirements
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous monitoring activities
- Mentor and guide project team members to maintain a high-performance culture
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity , with demonstrated leadership in secure system delivery
- In-depth knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application in DoD environments
- RMF Professional Certification or equivalent credential
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner)
- IAM Level III Certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing projects in support of the U.S. Army or other DoD components
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance tools, ATO packages, and vulnerability management processes
