Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Micro Integration Engineer who will support a government contract located in Midland, TX.
Responsibilities for the Micro Integration Engineer:
· Assess new product concepts and designs for manufacturability and provide such assessment and recommendations to R&D/Product Engineering.
· Develop methods and processes to manufacture new products in the safest manner, at the desired quality standards, and at the lowest cost to meet projected demand in a timely manner.
· Conduct proof of principle or proof of concept studies.
· Conduct detailed process design, including layouts, tooling, fixturing, programming testing and documentation.
· Continuously improve current production methods using Six-Sigma methodologies and utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
· Provide technical know-how to troubleshoot problems in current production.
· Participate or Lead Safety, Kaizen, and other initiatives.
Qualifications for the Micro Integration Engineer:
· 1-3 years of Aerospace / Automobile sector relative experience
· Experience with pFMEA/Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma
· Experience with AutCAD, ERP/MES/PLM systems
· Experience in ERP/MES/PLM systems. Solumina (MES), NetSuite (ERP), Fusion360 (PLM).
· Experience in Liaison/Concurrent engineering environment.

Compensation for the Micro Integration Engineer:
- $85,000 - $100,000 *Depending on Experience.
