Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in either Everett or Tukwila, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of hourly Materials Management Specialists, marshal resources across the Supply Chain to include salaried Supply Chain Management Analysts
- Partners with Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Supply Chain Fulfillment, MSC&O Transportation Warehousing & Logistics, and GXO Logistics in a fast pace high energy environment while leading an Injury & Incident Free team culture that also maintains compliance to FAR/DFAR contracted business systems audited by the DCAA/DCMA with additional SOx controls
- Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes; leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of functional approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees

- Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union-represented workforce
- Experience using Incident Injury Free concepts or Behavior Base Safety concepts
- Experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
