Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Lead to oversee and facilitate various activities related to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and program management. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating MRP kickoff activities, managing the MRP Control Board, and ensuring the smooth execution of program processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities:
- Program Startup:
- Lead MRP kickoff activities and coordinate the MRP Control Board to ensure alignment and effective communication among stakeholders.
- IWA Gatekeeping:
- Serve as the gatekeeper for the Integrated Work Authorization (IWA) process, ensuring compliance and adherence to established protocols.
- IWA Process Flow Mapping:
- Develop and maintain process flow maps for IWA, including identification of the "happy path" and exception handling procedures.
- Program Stop Orders and Cancellations:
- Manage the disposition of Work In Progress (WIP) for program stop orders and cancellations, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Program Closeouts:
- Oversee program closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables are met and documentation is completed accurately.
- Program Support:
- Provide support in reviewing WBS mapping, One Timekeeping System (OTS), and other program-related documentation.
- MRP Health Management:
- Monitor MRP health by working towards aligned schedules, identifying critical shortages, and implementing strategies for excess reduction.
- MMAS/Audit Lead:
- Act as part of the team responsible for Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) compliance and audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Rapid Space Solutions:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for a blended environment, addressing rapid space requirements and constraints.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years experience supporting end-to-end supply chain workflow
- Experience with organizing & facilitating meetings and supporting cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
- Experience with executive level reporting and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Project Management Experience
- Experience with BDS common systems and tools (Compass CONTRACT, MESci)
- Experience with Materials Management & Accounting Standards (MMAS)
- Bachelor's degree or higher
