JANUS Research Group is looking for an Operations Research Analyst to support the Product Lead, Logistics Information Systems (PL LIS) at Fort Gregg Adams, VA.
Develop and maintain lifecycle cost estimates (LCCEs) for proposed systems, upgrades, or alternatives. Conduct investment cost and risk analyses to support decision making across engineering, logistics, and acquisition stakeholders. Provide technical input to acquisition milestone documents, cost-benefit analyses, and budget exhibits. Model tradeoff scenarios across technical, performance, and funding variables. Coordinate with systems engineers, cost analysts, and program leadership to integrate technical and financial planning. Present findings in written reports, presentations, and formal documentation suitable for milestone and audit reviews.
Experience performing quantitative analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support cost-benefit evaluations and decision making. Proficiency in developing lifecycle cost estimates (LCCEs), affordability assessments, and tradeoff analyses. Ability to apply methodologies from DoD Cost Estimating Guide, DoDI 5000.73, or equivalent. Familiarity with cost tools such as ACEIT, SEER, or statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, Excel modeling). Experience contributing to acquisition documents such as IGCEs, Business Case Analyses, and Economic Analyses.
Education and Requirements:
Current and active Secret security clearance.

Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in operations research, cost analysis, or related fields.
