The Senior Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines and Develops practices for the Army Training Information System (ATIS). The candidate will ensure rapid and secure delivery of applications while maintaining high standards for compliance and automation.
Pipeline Management: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and delivery. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve development efficiency.
Environment Configuration: Implement and manage development, test, and production environments. Ensure consistency and reliability through configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
Security Integration: Embed security checks into CI/CD pipelines to enforce Develops principles.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all builds and deployments meet DoD standards.
Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and application logs to ensure reliability and scalability. Optimize resource usage and costs in cloud and on-premises environments.
Proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and automation tools. Active DoD Secret Security

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, including CI/CD pipeline management.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
