The candidate will act as a servant leader and Agile coach for teams developing Army software solutions, ensuring alignment with Agile principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure teams create and maintain Agile artifacts (e.g., sprint backlogs, product roadmaps, burndown charts) in GitLab, Jira, and other tools.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and cross functional teams (architecture, system engineering, UX) to align priorities and deliver high-quality solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for geographically dispersed teams, ensuring effective communication across time zones and cultures.
Leadership and Coaching: Serve as a servant leader, empowering teams to self-organize, identify, and resolve impediments, and continuously improve. Provide Agile training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders as needed.
Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze key progress metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, impediments) to drive team performance and transparency. Report on team progress and project health to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Risk and Impediment Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and impediments to ensure smooth project execution. Escalate critical issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
Agile Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine Agile processes, leveraging best practices such as test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration. Drive the adoption of Agile principles across teams and support enterprise level Agile transformations.
Education and Requirements:
Current and active Secret security clearance.

Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ Years of experience
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
