Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Mid-Level System and Network Administrator to join the Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the hardening, deployment, automation, and operational readiness of Special Test Equipment (STE) used in both factory and launch environments.
This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting a 24/7 test operation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates the client's core values: adaptability, collaboration, team success, and strong communication.

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level System and Network Administrator to join the Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct factory floor support across multiple programs.
- Define and document test setups, deploy test software/configurations, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Coordinate with program teams to fulfill requests and drive improvements in efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain tools to meet product security requirements.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage and track product security tasks.
- Configure and secure facilities, tools, networks, and data used throughout the product lifecycle-from design to delivery.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Active CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications.
- Experience with:
- Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Cisco IOS
- VMware Virtualization
- Enterprise Storage systems
- Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to support 24/7 operations.
- ITIL 4 and/or CCNA certification.
- Experience with:
- Satellite Test and STE Operations Readiness
- Cybersecurity practices and compliance
- RedHat/Oracle Linux, Windows XP-11, and network-based storage
- Certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) Test Servers
- Certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client
- Bachelor's degree with typically 5+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree with typically 3+ years of relevant experience, or
- PhD with relevant experience in an engineering classification.
