AFCEC Data Analyst

Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance. Must be onsite 2-4 days a week. Travel may be required.

The Contractor shall:

• Serve as a data strategist for AFCEC, responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from diverse sources. This role involves creating actionable insights that will be visualized through interactive PowerBI dashboards and compelling PowerPoint presentations.
• Lead initiatives to centralize and optimize data collection methodologies. Implement innovative solutions for housing and presenting data, ensuring it is readily accessible, accurate, and securely managed.
• Possess exceptional skills in communicating complex data insights effectively to senior leadership. Transform raw data into clear, concise, and visually appealing narratives that enable leaders to grasp key performance indicators and make strategic decisions.
• Synthesize diverse and unique data sets to provide comprehensive insights and foster data-driven collaboration across various teams.
• Have an understanding of SharePoint sites as per the evolving requirements of the client. If applicable, develop SharePoint sites and ensure these platforms are user-friendly, efficient, and supportive of AFCEC's overall objectives.
• Provide robust support for ad-hoc data-related tasks assigned by senior leadership. This includes, but is not limited to, producing high-quality data solutions, conducting in-depth analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and implementing measures to maintain data cleanliness.
• Proactively suggest improvements to current processes and tools, thereby driving continuous improvement and innovation within the data management framework of AFCEC.
• Ensure data governance best practices to ensure all data handling, storage, and usage comply with relevant policies and regulations.
• Contribute to the professional growth of the team by mentoring junior data analysts and providing regular training on advanced data analysis techniques and tools.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree at a minimum is required.
• Preferred ability to support in-person at client site (Lackland) 2-4 days a week
• Understanding of PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel/Microsoft Suite

Nice to have skills:

• Air Force experience
