How You'll Make an Impact
This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for clearly communicating goals and assessing outcomes as needed.
Responsibilities
- Elicit business functional and operational requirements including documenting HRC US Army Physical Disability Agency (USAPDA) related business processes workflow, transactions and/or operational activities.
- Participate in requirements peer review activities with system/software developers.
- Conduct requirements validation with application functional users and stakeholders, including approvals by all stakeholders on all requirements documentation prior to development initiation.
- Willingness and ability to coordinate onboarding activities for new employees joining the team.
- As directed, create required reports to research, validate, and verify analytical information.
- Ensure that operational business process definitions are documented correctly (consistent, traceable, and verifiable).
- Participate in testing software changes for compliance to requirements.
- Serve as liaison between the team and the government contacts to obtain needed information or documents.
- Collaborate with Project Management Team to gain approvals on deliverables.
- Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
- Create technical processes to reduce inefficiency.
Here's What You Need
- Master's degree and 10+ years' related experience, or BA/BS with 15+ years' experience.
- Experience and proficiency using all Microsoft Office products.
- Experience and proficiency using SAP Reporting tools.
- Demonstrated technical writing capabilities.
- Experience writing troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience working within a software development team environment.
- Active Secret clearance.
- US Citizen.
Bonus If You Have
- IAT II certification.
- Experience in DoD Applications.
- Experience working with SQL.
- Experience eliciting and documenting software requirements.
- Demonstrated files and data management capabilities.
