Red River is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics and Procurement Manager to lead and manage all logistics and procurement functions in support of a large Navy program. This crucial role involves coordinating logistics and material needs, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, and implementing strategic supply chain management practices. The ideal candidate will blend strategic oversight with practical execution to ensure program success.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Logistics and Procurement Management
- Oversee the comprehensive scope of logistics and procurement activities, ensuring seamless alignment with program timelines, deliveries, and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient procurement of supplies, materials, and services to support both program execution and customer needs.
Support for Program Execution
- Collaborate with project control analysts and program managers on material forecasting and invoice management.
- Assist proposal teams in the development of material rough orders of magnitude (ROM) and requests for proposal (RFP).
- Provide expert advice to program leadership and vendor representatives on procurement metrics, reliability, availability, supportability analysis, sustainment reporting, and logistics-related issues.
Vendor Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure exceptional quality, compliance, and value for money.
- Serve as a key representative in vendor negotiations and contract management to align with program goals and terms.
Team Leadership and Development
- Prepare, brief, and develop reports and presentations for program leadership, demonstrating exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Foster a high-performance team culture, promoting continuous improvement and solution development for challenging program requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring they are equipped to meet program demands effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required .
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience in logistics or material management. Additional years of experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
- At least two (2) years of experience leading a team in solving complex problems with a thorough understanding of program requirements and resources.
- Proven experience in program logistics execution, vendor management, and material management, including third-party and value-added reseller contract negotiation and execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience reviewing deliverables and ensuring compliance with industry and military logistical standards.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across departments and with external partners.
- Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and overcoming complex operational challenges.
