Position Summary
The Electrical Engineer (Journeyman) with an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience in the operation and integration of multi-mode VHF/UHF software-defined radios and cryptographic devices. Skilled in working with embedded COMSEC, anti-jam technologies, and SATCOM waveforms. Responsibilities include reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents, drafting technical white papers and platform integration plans, and testing ARC-210 radio capabilities using Collins radio systems and RCU software releases.

Must work onsite 100% of the time at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, located on the Chesapeake Bay in St. Mary's County, Maryland.
Must possess a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Starting salary range between $129,000 to $160,000 annually.

- Collins Radio hardware
- RCU software releases
Required Education
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
Required Experience
- Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of experience in an Engineering role.
- Experience with operation/integration of Multi-mode VHF/UHF Software Define Radios and Cryptographic devices
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) featuring:
- Embedded COMSEC
- Anti-jam capabilities
- SATCOM waveforms
