As the Aviation Supply Chain Analyst, you will execute complex aviation supply chain project activities and leads process improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for the results of supply chain process initiatives. Including manage supply chain special projects for suppliers and product areas assigned. As well as designs, develops, and establishes data management documentation based on program requirements. And assist in coordinating the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as liaison between site manager, USN CLS provider, and program office.
  • Collaborate with maintenance provider and COMBS site manager on part prioritization for deliveries for outstanding NMCS aircraft time change items, major time change items, planned maintenance actions, etc.
  • Attend daily maintenance meetings.
  • Write up discrepancies and notify location Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and program Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) when USN CLS provider improperly ordering under NMCS status, failure to order time change items under ZA9, etc.
  • Attend T-6 Readiness Call meetings.
  • Review time change component removal due-in reports and align purchases with scheduled maintenance to ensure time change items available for simultaneous exchange for simultaneous exchange at the site to meet demand requirement.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and related technical training (or equivalent combination of education / training and experience).
  • 2 years related experience.
  • Experience with US Navy supply systems and processes (I.e. NALCOMIS, OOMA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of supply chain management process flows from requirement to fulfillment.
  • Experience with aircraft parts demand / forecasting / planning.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to analyze and work problems in a poised manner.
  • Ability to collect data and generate clear, concise specialty reports as requested.
  • Willingness to be flexible with unscheduled / programmed tasks / assignments.
