Web Administrator
Location: Fort Lee, Virginia

Description:
HigherEchelon is seeking Web Administrator that manages and maintains public-facing and internal web content hosted by CASCOM G6. This role ensures sites remain secure, compliant with DoD standards, and up to date with functional content supporting logistics training, command announcements, and public information requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain, update, and monitor CASCOM's web presence in accordance with DoD and Army standards (PWS 1.2.11).
Administer content management systems, coordinate with content owners, and publish approved updates.
Perform regular scans for broken links, outdated content, or accessibility issues.
Manage user permissions, backups, and site version control (PWS 1.2.12).
Enforce web security policies, sanitize HTML code, and implement Section 508 accessibility compliance.
Coordinate with cybersecurity and public affairs for content approvals and incident responses.
Document site architecture, content schedules, and update logs.
Recommend enhancements to usability, visual presentation, or content structuring in coordination with the SharePoint Administrator and Graphic Artist.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in managing content management systems (CMS) platforms like WordPress, SharePoint, or Adobe Experience Manager.
Familiarity with Section 508 compliance, DoD web publishing policies, and web compliance audits.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting TRADOC or Army commands in web administration roles.
Proficiency in web content workflows, user management, and style guide enforcement.
Familiarity with government public affairs coordination and digital media protocols.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in Web Design, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
Full-time on-site presence; occasional after-hours updates or emergency corrections may be required
Regularly engages with stakeholders to manage updates and site readiness
Maintains web update logs, compliance checklists, and SOPs for content publication
Works closely with the SharePoint Administrator and Graphic Artist to deliver unified digital content
