SharePoint Administrator

Location: Fort Lee, Virginia

Clearance: Secret

Description:

HigherEchelon is seeking a SharePoint Administrator responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of CASCOM's SharePoint environments. This role ensures reliable performance, security compliance, and seamless collaboration across sites supporting internal logistics operations, training coordination, and command knowledge management. The position requires a full-time, on-site presence with an active DoD Secret clearance at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows in support of CASCOM command operations (PWS 1.2.12).

Build and maintain site collections, permissions, and group-based access controls (PWS 1.2.13).

Design, implement, and troubleshoot workflows and automations for document routing, alerts, and approvals.

Collaborate with end-users and Government leads to structure content, metadata, and site navigation.

Enforce DoD security and governance policies within the SharePoint environment.

Support branding, theming, and user interface updates to align with organizational style guides.

Monitor system usage, storage limits, and performance metrics; escalate issues to the server team when needed.

Document SOPs, change logs, and system architecture for operational continuity.

Required Skills:

CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II baseline; current).

Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or SharePoint Administrator Associate preferred.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

Prior experience supporting TRADOC or DoD SharePoint environments.

Knowledge of Army 365/SharePoint Online hybrid deployments.

Working familiarity with integration of SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, and external data sources.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).

A minimum of 3 years of experience managing SharePoint environments, whether on-premise or through Microsoft 365.
